Epithalon
What It Is
Epithalon is a synthetic version of a peptide naturally produced by your pineal gland. It's a telomerase activator — meaning it turns on the enzyme that rebuilds telomeres, the protective caps on your chromosomes that shorten with every cell division. When telomeres get too short, cells stop dividing and die. Epithalon is the most studied compound in the Khavinson longevity peptide program out of St. Petersburg.
How It Works
Every time a cell divides, the telomeres at the end of its chromosomes get a little shorter. When they're gone, the cell can't divide anymore — it senesces or dies. Epithalon activates telomerase (hTERT), the enzyme that adds those telomere sequences back. It also boosts melatonin production from the pineal gland and increases antioxidant enzyme expression. The combination targets multiple hallmarks of aging simultaneously.
