What It Is
GHK-Cu is a copper peptide naturally found in your blood. At age 20, you have about 200 ng/mL. By 60, it's dropped to 80 ng/mL. That decline correlates with slower wound healing, thinner skin, and reduced tissue repair capacity. It was first isolated in 1973 and has since been shown to influence over 4,000 genes — making it one of the most broadly active compounds in peptide research.
How It Works
GHK-Cu is a master switch for tissue remodeling. It stimulates collagen production, promotes blood vessel growth, attracts immune cells to repair sites, and reduces inflammation. The copper ion is essential — it's a cofactor for enzymes involved in collagen crosslinking and antioxidant defense.
