GHRP-2
What It Is
GHRP-2 is the strongest GH releaser in the GHRP family — more potent than GHRP-6 but with less appetite stimulation. It's approved in Japan as a diagnostic tool for GH deficiency (Pralmorelin). The tradeoff vs ipamorelin: more GH output but mild cortisol and prolactin elevation. For researchers prioritizing maximum GH release over the cleanest side effect profile, GHRP-2 is the pick.
How It Works
Higher binding affinity to the ghrelin receptor than GHRP-6. Triggers the strongest GH pulse of any GHRP, but also moderately activates the HPA axis (cortisol, ACTH) and slightly elevates prolactin. Less appetite stimulation than GHRP-6. Synergizes powerfully with GHRH analogs.
