What It Is
HGH (somatropin) is a 191-amino acid protein identical to what your pituitary gland produces. It's the master regulator of growth, body composition, and repair. Natural production peaks during puberty and declines steadily after — by age 60, you're producing roughly 20% of what you made at 25. That decline is associated with increased body fat, decreased muscle mass, thinner skin, and reduced recovery capacity.
How It Works
HGH works through two channels. Directly, it mobilizes fat stores for energy (lipolysis) and enhances protein synthesis. Indirectly, it stimulates your liver to produce IGF-1, which drives most of the anabolic effects — muscle growth, tissue repair, and cell regeneration. Standard conversion: 1mg = 3 IU.
